─── Core Steel ▪️ ZDP-189 ───
▪️ A high-end powder metallurgy steel developed by Hitachi Metals, Ltd., hailed as the "Next-Generation Super Steel of the 21st Century." Its primary composition includes approximately 3% carbon and up to 20% chromium. After heat treatment, it can reach a hardness of HRC 66–67, making it one of the rare steels that combines ultra-high hardness with practicality. The high carbon content grants exceptional sharpness and wear resistance, while the high chromium content ensures superior rust resistance—perfect for demanding professional users who require both cutting efficiency and corrosion protection.
It features an extremely fine and uniform distribution of grain and carbides, allowing the blade edge to maintain high stability and sharpness over long periods. Although its hardness makes processing and sharpening more challenging, proper techniques and sharpening tools will unlock its peak performance. ZDP-189 is currently one of the most representative ultra-high hardness stainless steels on the market, widely used in high-end kitchen and craft knives.

─── Soul of the Artisan: Fusion of Professional Grinding and Materials: Tetsuhiro ───
Tetsuhiro was born in Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture—a city famous for its metal craftsmanship. Its origins trace back to 1927, when founder Tetsuo Kiryu started as a traditional "Nokaji" (field blacksmith) making agricultural tools and daily utensils, emphasizing durable and reliable practical value. As times changed, the brand pioneered the use of stainless steel technology to balance sharpness, durability, and ease of maintenance. During the second generation's management, automated heat treatment equipment was introduced to enhance product quality stability. Tetsuhiro has always adhered to the philosophy that "every knife deserves trust," merging traditional craftsmanship with modern technology to create practical cutlery designed for longevity.

─── Knife Model Introduction ▪️ K-Tip Wa-Gyuto ───
A professional chef's knife originating from Japan. It is primarily used for cutting, slicing, and preparing beef, especially premium Wagyu. These knives typically feature longer blades to achieve clean, continuous slices, making them ideal for processing large cuts of meat. The blade design of the Wa-Gyuto is highly effective for precision cutting, maintaining the integrity and aesthetic appeal of the meat. It is favored not only by professional chefs but also by home cooking enthusiasts who require refined meat handling. Wa-Gyuto handles and blade materials vary; common materials include stainless and high-carbon steels, while handles are often crafted from wood or composite materials to provide a comfortable and stable grip.

【 Maintenance Precautions 】
Although stainless steel possesses good corrosion resistance, it may still rust under humid, high-salinity, or damaged conditions. It is recommended to keep it dry and perform regular cleaning and maintenance.
Avoid Extreme Hard Objects: Strictly prohibited from hacking frozen ingredients or hard bones to prevent structural damage, chipping, or nicking of the blade.
No Machine Washing or Drying: Do not use a dishwasher or dish dryer; high temperatures and potent detergents will damage the knife body and handle material.
Standard Cleaning Process: After use, hand wash with warm water and immediately dry thoroughly with a dry cloth or soft towel. Store in a ventilated and dry place.
【 Professional After-Sales Maintenance 】
The store provides professional kitchen knife sharpening services to ensure your beloved knife remains in peak condition at all times.
