Brand Introduction:
⭕️Nigara Hamono: A historic blade maker located in Hirosaki, Aomori, Japan, with over 350 years of history and now led by the 8th generation. Originally renowned for crafting samurai swords, the brand excels in modern knife-making, especially its signature textured finishes. Iconic series such as “Oni Killer” and “Fuji Moon” showcase exceptional Japanese metalworking craftsmanship. Nigara perfectly balances tradition and innovation, producing knives that combine performance with striking design.
Material Introduction:
⭕️SG-2 / R2 Powder Steel: Contains approximately 1.25–1.50% carbon, 14.0–16.0% chromium, 2.0–3.0% molybdenum, 1.8–2.5% vanadium, and 1.5% tungsten. This composition delivers extremely high hardness, excellent corrosion resistance, and sufficient toughness. After proper heat treatment, it reaches around HRC 62–64, offering outstanding edge retention and wear resistance. Its high chromium content enhances rust resistance, making it an excellent choice for high-performance kitchen knives.
Knife Model Introduction:
⭕️Wa-Gyuto: A Japanese-style chef’s knife designed primarily for slicing and trimming meat, especially premium wagyu beef. Its longer blade allows for smooth, continuous cuts, preserving the texture and presentation of the meat. Suitable for both professional chefs and home cooks who demand precision in meat preparation.
