Brand Introduction:
⭕️Saji Takeshi: One of Echizen’s most renowned master bladesmiths from Fukui Prefecture, Japan. A third-generation blacksmith of Saji Hamono, originally famous for crafting hunting and outdoor knives with a bold and rustic style. His knives combine traditional forging with creative designs, producing functional art pieces that are both beautiful and extremely sharp. Output is very limited, and many collectors aim to own full sets of Saji’s different knife series. Today, his son-in-law Kazuo Nomura leads the Saji Hamono workshop.

Steel Introduction:
⭕️VG10-W: Produced by Takefu Special Steel, VG10-W is an enhanced version of standard VG10 by adding tungsten (W). This addition promotes fine carbide formation, improving wear resistance, edge retention, and heat resistance. It reaches hardness above HRC 61, maintains strength even after high-temperature treatments, and offers 20% more durability and 25% improved cutting performance compared to VG10. This next-generation high-grade steel is widely used not only for premium kitchen knives but also in demanding industrial applications.
