After a 5-year apprenticeship in Fukuoka learning Hakata-style traditional knife forging, he established his forge in 2011 focusing on crafting fully handmade Camellia Knives. Combining ancient techniques with lively craftsmanship, Miyazaki Kajiya produces practical, durable, and easy-to-maintain knives, preserving centuries-old forging traditions.
Material Introduction:
⭕️ATS-34: A high-carbon stainless steel produced by Hitachi Metals Japan, containing carbon, chromium, molybdenum, and manganese. Known for its excellent hardness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance, ATS-34 is widely used in premium knives and surgical instruments for its outstanding performance and durability.
