Description
“UKIMON” is an artistic folding knife series launched by the Japanese knife brand G・SAKAI, designed under the concept of Neo-Japanese Style, blending traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern metal craftsmanship.
It integrates iconic ukiyo-e elements into contemporary design, achieving a perfect balance between visual beauty and practical functionality.
Each knife is carefully crafted by Japanese artisans, showcasing the delicacy of traditional culture and embodying Japan’s pursuit of “small yet exquisite” craftsmanship.
The blade uses Japan-made VG-10 high-performance cutlery steel, offering sharpness, wear resistance, and rust resistance—despite its compact size, it still delivers professional cutting performance.
The Frame Lock mechanism provides stable and secure opening and closing.
The blade features a nail mark groove, inspired by traditional Japanese swords.
The stainless-steel handle is finished with a special 3D printing process, giving it a refined texture and vivid ukiyo-e patterns.
🌸 Design Variants
🗻 (1) Red Fuji – Inspired by the ukiyo-e masterpiece South Wind, Clear Sky.
It symbolizes the spirit and strength of Japan, with the blade reflecting the majestic presence of Mt. Fuji.
🌊 (2) Waves – Inspired by the iconic The Great Wave off Kanagawa.
The powerful wave patterns express dynamism and vitality, symbolizing resilience and the beauty of flowing motion.
Both models reproduce ukiyo-e brush textures through detailed 3D printing, blending tradition and modern artistry in the palm of your hand.
