Brand Introduction:
Seki Kanetsugu is a prestigious blade-making brand from Seki City with over 700 years of sword-forging lineage.
Its origin dates back to the Nanboku-chō era (1345–1349), when the first-generation smith Kanetsugu began forging Japanese swords in Mino province.
In 1918, Matsujirō Kawamura, a descendant of Kanetsugu, founded Seki Kanetsugu Hamono Co., Ltd., transitioning the craft from traditional sword-making to modern kitchen knives.
The brand aims to recreate the sharpness of Japanese swords through kitchen cutlery, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern technology.

VG10 contains approximately:
C 1.0%, Cr 15%, V 0.2–0.3%, Mo 1.0%, Co 1.5%.

Knife Model Introduction:
A bread knife is designed for slicing bread and pastries.
Its serrated edge easily cuts through toast, baguettes, and soft loaves while maintaining their shape without crushing.
