Initially known for crafting hunting and outdoor knives, his kitchen knives retain a bold and rugged style. Combining traditional forging techniques with innovative designs, his works are both functional and artistic, produced in limited quantities and sought after by collectors. Today, Saji Hamono is represented by his son-in-law, Kazuo Nomura.
